Privacy Statement
Living Kingdom Art respects your privacy and processes personal data solely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains which data we process, why, which parties we work with and what rights you have.
Which data we process
Depending on your interaction with us we process: name, email address and phone number; shipping and billing address; order details and payment status; and the content of messages you send us through the contact or commission form. Payment details (such as card numbers) are processed solely by our payment provider Stripe and never reach our own servers.
Why we process this data
We use your data to process and deliver your order, to handle payments, to respond to your questions or requests, and — only with your consent — to send you our newsletter. Processing is based on the performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations or your consent.
Who we work with (processors)
We engage a number of external service providers that process personal data on our behalf as processors:
• Stripe — payment processing; • Gelato — production and shipping of fine art prints; • Brevo — sending transactional emails and (with consent) the newsletter; • Supabase — hosting of our database and storage.
Data processing agreements are in place with these parties. Your data is not sold to third parties.
Cookies and browser storage
This site uses only functional cookies and functional browser storage: data needed to make the site work the way you use it. Nothing is stored to track you, and nothing is shared with advertisers. That is why we do not ask for your consent — the rules only require it for cookies that go beyond this.
We store on your device: your language choice (a cookie, valid for one year), your country choice and preferences (in your browser's storage, until you clear them), and a copy of the site's texts in the language you use, so pages load faster. In the admin area the site additionally remembers whether the side menu is open.
For the contact and commission form we use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, and for the feedback button an external library (html-to-image) to create a screenshot. Neither sets cookies or browser storage on your device.
You can remove all of this at any time through your browser settings. The site keeps working; your language and country choice simply return to their defaults.
How long we keep data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Order and invoice data are subject to the statutory tax retention obligation (in the Netherlands typically seven years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, and the right to restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Please contact us to exercise these rights. If you have an account, you can start deleting it yourself from your account page; your order and invoice data are still retained afterwards under the statutory seven-year tax retention obligation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
