Returns & Withdrawal
Whether and how you can withdraw from or return a purchase differs per product type. Below you'll find what applies for each type.
Fine art prints
Fine art prints are produced on demand. Because these are made-to-order products, the statutory exemption from the right of withdrawal applies where it is legally applicable to the chosen configuration. In that case you can no longer withdraw from the purchase once production has begun. This exemption is clearly stated before purchase and during checkout. As long as production has not yet started, the order can still be cancelled free of charge.
Commissioned artworks
Commissioned works are made entirely to order and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal under the statutory exemption for custom-made goods. After acceptance of the commission and/or receipt of the deposit, the commission cannot be cancelled free of charge.
Original paintings
Original paintings are not sold through a direct checkout, but through a personal quote and purchase process. Withdrawal and returns are therefore set out in the individual quote or purchase agreement.
