Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all orders and agreements with Living Kingdom Art. Because we offer three distinct product types — fine art prints, commissions and original paintings — different arrangements for delivery, withdrawal and cancellation apply per type.
VAT
VAT is calculated and processed through Stripe Tax. At present only Dutch VAT is charged. All prices on the website include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Fine art prints
Fine art prints are produced on demand through our print network after payment is received.
Right of withdrawal: because prints are made to order, the statutory exemption from the right of withdrawal applies where it is legally applicable to the chosen configuration. This is stated before purchase and during checkout.
Cancellation: an order can be cancelled free of charge as long as production has not yet started. Once the order has been forwarded to the production partner and production has begun, cancellation is no longer possible.
Commissioned artworks
Commissioned works are made entirely to order for the client.
Right of withdrawal: commissions are excluded from the right of withdrawal under the statutory exemption for custom-made goods.
Cancellation: after acceptance of the commission and/or receipt of the deposit, the commission cannot be cancelled free of charge. Costs already incurred or work already performed may be charged.
Original paintings
Original paintings are not sold directly through the web shop. Instead, a purchase is arranged through a personal inquiry process (Purchase Inquiry / Request to Purchase). After your request, Living Kingdom Art will contact you personally and prepare a quote covering: the price of the artwork, any transport costs, transport insurance, the expected delivery time and — where applicable — customs and import information.
For the Netherlands, collection at the studio is the standard option. Delivery within the Netherlands or internationally is offered solely on the basis of a separate quote.
Withdrawal and cancellation are set out in the individual quote or purchase agreement.
Delivery
Shipping costs and delivery times for prints are calculated during checkout based on your country and the selected product. For original paintings, the arrangements in the individual quote apply.
Payment
Payments for prints are processed securely through Stripe. An order is final once payment is confirmed. For commissions and originals, the payment arrangements in the order confirmation or quote apply.
